Poll: How often do you use Irish?

Many have claimed that the language is dead.

ONE TWITTER USER is successfully fighting back against claims that the Irish language is dead by using the social media platform to explain why it can still be a vibrant thing that’s worth caring about.

Darach Ó Séagdha set up the Twitter page The Irish For back in January 2015.

He has been using the page to make the language more accessible and said that the Irish language has a future despite what the detractors say.

So, this morning we want to know: How often do you use Irish?

Poll Results:

Never (5506)
Daily (3862)
Rarely (2715)
Weekly (1880)
Only in conversation abroad (733)
